wow, blogging two days in a row! i've been plugging away at the site for hours and i feel like i've barely made any progress. i did finally make a new header (that i'm p proud of) and i figured out something on the homepage that's been bothering me, but still not 100%.

i also tried adding a music player, but couldn't get the js to work. i'll figure it out eventually! but for now, i am pooped. enjoy the soundcloud embed i put there instead because i gave up ;;;;;

hello world! this is my inaugural blog post. not really sure if i'll keep up with this regularly or not, but i thought it might be nice to have this on my webbed site.

this week was pretty grueling for me. i'm feeling a strong sense of burnout, and it's been hard to enjoy things. i'm honestly surprised that i'm motivated enough to put this while page together! i guess it's nice to have something to take my mind off of everything going on in my life and the world.

on the bright side, i've been doing some fun things to get myself off my phone. my fake ipod (innioasis y1) is now full of a majority of the albums that i love! recently, i've been loving older stuff, like fleetwood mac and joni mitchell. it's been fun adding music to this little thing, and using that instead of my phone has been nice. i'm hoping to start reading more next!
